We had a call from a property management company who had a problem with one of their property’s guttering.
They stated the issue was there was no access to rear or side of the property and the build was 4 stories high, they had had several companies visit the site stating that they are unable to clear the guttering due to the access. As you can see in the photo below the building backed onto a river and there were just under 1.5m of room between the building and the river making it impossible to access via a MEWP or portable scaffolding tower.
The cost to fully scaffold the rear of the building would have gone into the thousands but luckily enough we had a solution.
After carrying out a site visit and providing a set of RAMS the property management company were happy to go ahead and have the work under taken. Using our carbon fibre 40ft gutter cleaning poles, wireless inspection camera and 3000w gutter vacuum we were able to clear the gutters with ease. Below is a short video of us in action tackling these hard to reach gutters.
We had many pedestrians stopping to watch us in action and many people complement on what a fabulous bit of kit the gutter vacuum system was and how they couldn’t believe it was able to clear gutters at such height.

Your Local Gutter Cleaners
All guttering is pitched towards the down pipe so the water is able to exit from the roofline, if there is anything in your gutters the water flow pulls the muck towards the down pipe as it should. If your gutters haven't been cleaned for a while the build up of muck can't always make it around the bends and clogs up causing a blockage which then causes problems.
The kind of problems seen in the photo above, this being one of the reasons it is advised to have you gutters cleaned at least once a year to keep them working as they should and not just waiting until there is a problem causing damage to your home.
With prices from just £25 its highly advised to have your guttering cleared at least once a year to avoid these kind of problems.

We had a phone call from a distressed landlady who had a problem with her guttering on a rental property of hers in Wolverhampton, her tenant had been on the phone complaining about a leaking gutter which in turn had started to cause a damp patch on the wall and rot the wooden soffit board. Our client asked if we could visit the property to inspect the guttering and supply an urgent quotation, within a 1 1/2 hour turn around, we had one of our team over to inspect the leaking gutter which led to actually be a proportion of the down pipe had fallen off. This was due to a couple of reasons - one being the bad weather we have been having over the past few days in and around Wolverhampton and the second being an inadequate repair by a previous company which didn't help the problem. With the job needing a new running outlet, down pipe, 3 off set bends and new gutter brackets being fitted, Daniel one of team members who conducted the inspection was able to temporarily repair the down pipe until we were able to locate an exact match/size for this particular square line guttering.
A quick trip to our suppliers, we had all of the gutter supplies we needed to get this guttering back to doing its job correctly. First off it was a case of removing the broken guttering and fitting the new outlet.
Once the new outlet was fitted we double checked our measurements before having to cut the 65mm down pipe to the correct size for the down pipe to the hopper and also, we had to lengthen the adjustable offset top bends to achieve the right degree needed for the down pipe to fit securely and neatly (as pictured below)
So, with the top section of the guttering all fixed we were then able to fit the down pipe itself and the extension piece into the hopper to catch the water running from the guttering.
Finally, with this all-in place it was simply a case of drilling holes into the masonry to fit the gutter clips ensuring it was safe and secure to withstand all weather conditions.
Last but not least, once the gutters on this house in Wolverhampton were all fixed, we ran a water check to double check there were no issues on any of the bends which there wasn't, so we were happy our job was completed to a high standard as always. One thing we did notice was a very slight drip/leak from one of the inline joining brackets further along the run. Once we inspected the bracket it was a simple case of the rubber seal had perished, as a gesture of goodwill Daniel replaced the seal for the customer free of charge while we were there.
ANOTHER HAPPY CUSTOMER FOR TEAM JETOWASH.

Gutter Cleaning in Albrighton, Wolverhampton. Today we tackled some very blocked gutters over in Albrighton, Wolverhampton. The customer rang the office and advised us that her gutters were overflowing and hadn't been emptied for years. Upon inspecting the guttering we could see that it was simply a case of them being full of moss that had fallen from the roof tiles. So we got to work and cleared all of the debris from the guttering using our gutter vacuum system, after the moss was removed it seemed that the offset bends were also blocked as the moss that lay in the gutters had been forced into the bend from the rain waters flow over the years which in result caused a blockage, this would have been the reason for the water overflowing from the top of the guttering as it has to go somewhere and wasn't able to flow down the down pipe as it should. Once we were 100% happy the offset bend and down pipe where clear, we then ran a water flow check to ensure there were no leaks from any of the joining brackets (If a gutter has a slight drip leaking it is normally due to the fact the rubber seals in the joining brackets have perished over the years of battling the UK weather) and the gutters flow was correct and wasn't back flowing on itself. So the gutters are now all clear from blockages and ready to do their job of removing the rain water from the roof without causing any structural damage to the property. We then simply took a few photos to show the customer that the gutters were now fully unblocked...
